There are some websites on the internet that impress us with the readable, short, legal ethics, corporate ethics (with a legal or ethics compliance focus), or legal malpractice articles that they contain.  For your enjoyment in reading some good writing, browse where these links lead you.    Our short list is for browsing, not for researching.  It's part of our plan to keep Neoethics as an eZine for your monthly reading.

Professor Hricik's Legal Ethics pages.  Professor Hricik is one of the rare law professors that turns out readable short articles of practical every-day advice for working lawyers.  Read his "Articles" even though his well organized research links may be the reason you stop at his site.

Professor Chinaris's SunEthics (Its focus is on Florida, but has much for a lawyer in any state.)

Hinshaw & Culbertson's  newsletters  If you total all the lawyers in all their various offices around the country, Hinshaw has one of the largest professional liability practices in the country.  It utilizes its practice base to turn out a number of articles on legal ethics and legal malpractice..

Ben Cowgill has a e-newletter on Legal Ethics (its focus is on Kentucky, but has much for a lawyer in any state.)  You have to subscribe to the legal e-newsletter, but there also is a blog on legal ethics that he writes.  Cowgill has exhibited a lot of effort in what he produces.

McCauley's Legal Ethics in Virginia pages (its focus is on Virginia, but has much for a lawyer in any state.)

Freivogel's Freivogel on Conflicts (Bill Freivogel)

The above list is not meant to replace longer lists found elsewhere, including those link lists maintained by those great ABA people at ETHICSearch. Staffed by lawyers experienced in legal ethics research, you’ll receive citations to relevant ABA rules, opinions, and other ethics resources. ETHICSearch is restricted to lawyers and other legal professionals, including law students and law clerks. Most ETHICSearch searches are free of charge!
